Branding Film

Purpose:
To build and continuously evolve the brand positioning of Velas do Engenho through strategic audiovisual production. The partnership was developed in two distinct projects, accompanying the hotel’s growth from its initial phase as a single building to its expansion with a new structure and accommodation offerings. Each production was designed to strengthen the hotel’s visual identity, support commercial goals, and communicate its beachfront experience with clarity and sophistication.

 

Creative Team:
Both projects were led by Bruno Carvalho (Director of Photography) and Lucia Cavalheiro (Creative Director), ensuring creative consistency, deep familiarity with the property, and a visual language aligned with the hotel’s positioning and evolution.

 

First Project – Brand Foundation:
The initial production took place when Velas do Engenho operated as a single building. A complete audiovisual project was developed to establish the hotel’s brand presence, highlighting its privileged seaside location, comfort, and lifestyle. The focus was on creating a strong visual foundation to support brand launch and digital communication.

 

Second Project – Expansion and Immersion:
The second production accompanied the opening of the new building and the full set of accommodations. This phase focused on updating and expanding the visual library, presenting the new structure in detail and reinforcing the scale and experience of the property. An immersive FPV drone film was produced to showcase the hotel from a dynamic and contemporary perspective, connecting architecture, surroundings, and ocean views.

 

Cinema with Strategy:
Across both projects, the objective was consistent: to go beyond documentation and create audiovisual assets with cinematic language and strategic intent, capable of expressing the feeling of staying at Velas do Engenho while supporting long-term brand positioning.

 

Final Impact:
Through two complementary projects, Velas do Engenho now holds a comprehensive, updated, and versatile audiovisual collection. These materials support digital platforms, branding initiatives, and commercial communication, reflecting the hotel’s evolution and reinforcing its presence as a sophisticated beachfront destination in Ilhabela.
